Jessica Villagrana

Addressing food insecurity amongst our community’s children is a mission close to my heart.  In my early childhood memories, my belly was full.  However, I recall my mother carefully counting food stamps to ensure our family had enough to eat that week.   When times got tougher, we stood in line to receive food assistance from local organizations. It is with a great sense of gratitude for these programs that I joined TABLE, first as a volunteer, and now as a board member.

The first in my extended family to pursue higher education, I earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. I have been a financial professional for over a decade and serve families in our community as an Edward Jones financial advisor.

In addition to tenure in my field, I partnered with closely-held businesses and non-profit organizations through my management consultancy firm. For eleven years, I collaborated with leaders to create sustainable growth through customized strategic solutions that were immediately actionable and results-driven.

I strive to be a community partner that contributes through a spirit of service, inclusion and social and cultural awareness. I’m a marathon runner, avid world traveler, grateful mother and wife. My family feels blessed to call Chapel Hill our home.
